Game is now unplayable

I came back from a hiatus with all the same hardware and this game is unplayable. Missions, regardless of type, won't start 9/10 tries. I try to start a long delivery but the loading screen loads and never stops, so I quit the game and get back in. Only this time, I have 0 good to sell and Cripps is playing with himself and 0 goods.

This game used to be so much fun and has degraded into a steaming pile.
