On the off chance that somehow you're still not extremely hyped about Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to PC, Rockstar has just released an impossibly crisp 4K, 60FPS trailer for the port. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but this trailer makes that number seem microscopic.

The port was finally announced last month, followed by extra details including additional content that isn't available in the console version. Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC will be able to make use of the more powerful hardware, delivering an even more impressive and immersive experience.
Today's trailer is specifically geared towards showing off the game's breathtaking visuals. At 4K and 60FPS, this already impressive game just became a graphical landmark, and might just be the best looking title of 2019 once it is released on the 5th of November.
We see a lot of sweeping vistas with impossibly massive draw distances. The lighting and texture quality just makes you think "there is no way this is in-engine", but it really is. The way animals move, how the clouds look, the rays of the sun shining through charred foliage - it's all pixel perfect.
Whoever edited this trailer really knew what to showcase. A predatory bird swooping down to catch a fish, a rope bridge wiggling as Arthur's horse trots over it, the smoke and sparks rising above a campfire - it really sells the high fidelity of the PC version.
Luckily fans won't need to wait long before we get a chance to experience all this for ourselves. Less than a month stands between us and Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC in all its glory. Pre-orders are already open via several retailers, and if you want to grab some extra goods and bonuses with the game you might as well hop in on that.
