For fun, what's your horse's name/names?
MaryW replied to Major Dammidge's question in Questions & Answers
I called my first one Shnuggles the Pooh because I was drunk, then when I sobered up and discovered my unclaimed racehorse I named it Polly, after my cat. -
They did flip out, elmZ. I don't know if I was imagining it but I felt every second of their impotent rage, lol. Bless 'em! And yes, liquidfire, at my real home the door is always open but the rule is, don't be a di*k :D

I gotta see this. Underwater smoking sounds like my new hobby.

Howdy CowPeeps, I hope you're all enjoying the holiday season and getting overweight on mince pies and plain venison. Well, the other day I was at camp with the white flag raised crafting and cooking some things when two griefers turned up. Cos I play as a woman even though I'm a bloke these two dudes thought it would be funny to stick their crotches in my face while I was crouched. Then they tried shooting, lassoing and all the usual things people do when they're bored. Revenge is due, my friends, I thought. Do you know you can lower the white flag without standing near it? You can do it from the d-pad. While the flag was raised I got these dudes used to having a gun aimed at them. Then to wind them up I stood in front of them and drank a beer. Then when they were grouped together I lowered the white flag (from the d-pad) and took them out. By the time they'd respawned and returned the flag was back up and they were p*ssed. I sat on my horse, waited for them to calm down and to distract them again I put on my polka dot frock, jumped off the horse and arrogantly drank another beer at them, lowered the white flag from the d-pad and killed them again. They stupidly came back unaware they were being outwitted so I mounted up and just followed them around the camp until they got bored. When they rode off at speed I killed them yet again. They came back and this time the flag was already lowered and I was just standing there. They approached but didn't draw weapons. So I killed them. The moral is, don't come to my home waving your willy about cos you might just get castrated X

Lol, and those sound effects. It's a shame you can't sell the horse crap, we'd all be millionaires in a couple of days.

I have a plan, are you with me? Let's RIDE! Yee who! As I was riding on my horse I shot a skunk Of course, of course Pocketed some scented glands My god, where can I wash my hands! Over there in that thar creek I'm feeling dressed quite unique Polka dots and a straw boater Still a croc snapped my neck Now nite folk floater Respawned like you do So whistled for my horse Ran towards its facing bum She was having a poo, of course, of course. Little Polly PooPants

Yeah, I think Micah too. You break him out of jail using some winch contraption and then he goes on a sporadic kill fest retrieving his two guns. I think his mission was the first one where I thought, what the hell running into town in a bullet hail! Then died. No, didn't die, failed the mission cos Micah got himself shot. To pieces.

My friend the other day suggested horse drawn artillery. There's a part of the map that hints at the civil war. He said, eat my cannonball and imagined legs flying off!

They'd most likely have known and played some of the old carols back in the day. Some go back a long way. But haaa, I wonder if there's an alternative bar out there somewhere. A violinist sometimes turns up outside in Saint Denis. I wonder if they'll put on a show for crimbo. Edit: That violinist, I now drunkenly remember, was in story-mode.

Yep, agreed because they seem to have put a lot of effort into the weather systems. Not as nice as Horizon Zero Dawn though! But then again, if it snowed up in the Grizzlies we'd all be too poor to buy woolly socks. Gold socks. Yes please.

Yeah, Suk3rP, some days are worse than others but not really too bad. Sometimes when it kicks me I think, yeah, I'd better stand up and walk about for a bit anyway, lol. And yes, Yoda, ain't it crap when you have a nice stash of pelts and, boom, they're gone. It'd be nice to be able to just store a nice pelt here, another an hour later and they'd still be there to sell whatever happens. Even when I stash a muskie-fish I think, god, I gotta get this sold right now....clippety clop clippety clop clippety clop. And the horse says, nurr hurr hurr

It's great isn't it. But nowhere was safe that night. Silent night? No!

I'm in Tumbleweed and it's a ShootFest. I'm trying to make it to the bar without a Christmas carbine to the head. While the carnage continues outside I'ma gonna try and get served a whiskey, find a seat and listen to the goddamn pianist play me a Christmas carol. :D XxX

G'day all. Well, I've come straight from the game onto here because I keep getting dropped from the server. It's crap you lose what's stored on your horse time and time again. especially when you're spending time money grinding. But, not being one to moan and gripe I'll do something else instead...might cook a curry and call my mate over for a smoke

Hiya DylBandit. Another day, another dollar!

Ciao Mpegforever. Borderlands....yes, love it too. Even that Tales From The Borderlands was brilliant. Great fun. I hope RockStar go full online soon, this XP and money making grind can get a bit tedious but I'll not buy gold until I know what I need it for. PS I'm a bloke but chose a woman's profile cos I got bored years ago playing as a male. The women's clothes in games are usually much better, lol.

Cheers Skrylaxx. Playing as a female is fun. Some people rather than just shoot you will stand there waving for minutes at a time. Others who don't realise my mic settings are switched on don't realise I can hear them calling me a b*tch as they lasso me. Silly misogynists! Hiya DiamondDave. Same here. I haven't touched another game since this one's release...well, apart from that free poker game on the PS4 that I play after too many drinks (I can't remember what it's called). The last game that took all my time up was Horizon Zero Dawn but that didn't have any online component. But what a game! 10/10.

Yes, it is VERY addicting and even though there's not a lot to do in beta I can't seem to get enough of it. Even when the in-game economy was a bit rubbish I didn't mind cos I love the hunting and fishing aspect of it too. But seriously, I should have bought the Xbox One though. It seems all my meat-space friends did. I just assumed they'd bought a PS4 but nooooooo, they didn't. Anyway, nice one, DLKnives. May you never be hogtied and thrown off a bridge :D

Hi cowpokes, how you all doing? It's a great game isn't it? I've been gaming since the 80s, first using a Spectrum 48k which was both lovable and a bit rubbish and since then I've been waiting for a decent game set in the Wild West to appear and at long last it's here. I somehow missed out on the first Red Dead, probably cos I was mainly a PC gamer except when playing Tiger Woods golf round a friends. So many drunken hours spent golfing. Ah, happy days. Quick disclosure; despite my name and my PS4 RDR2 character, MaryDoubleYou, I'm a bloke. It became a tradition for me to play as a woman after oh-so many hours playing in-game as a male. I think it was Dragon Age that caused the change. All of a sudden I could wear armour that didn't have spikes poking out everywhere and the voice acting seemed a bit better and after that I was hooked. Anyway, the online version, despite a few glitches, is brilliant isn't it! This is the first game that's compelled me to buy the online component and it's a whole new world of fun, if a little daunting at first. And this is my first time on a gaming forum, so hello once again. I'm well looking forward to posse-ing up once the game starts proper. There seems to be little reason to posse up at the moment so I'm basically doing what a lot of us are doing and making money and souping up my weapons, saving up for a decent horse. Well, I've rambled on long enough. Nice to meet you all. LET'S RIDE!!!
