Hey everyone.
Really looking forward to this release so I decided to see if there were any dedicated forums and sure enough, here we are.
Spent the better part of the last fifteen months on the F13 forums and there's not a whole lot to do over there anymore. I've noticed a few transplants here from there that may or may not know me. I was/am rickyount02 over on that side.
Went with my PS4 gamertag this time.
Firm believer in Occam's Razor and very skeptical of anything said online.
Glad to be here.

In order of appearance:
Atari 2600 (parents sold it to afford purchasing next console)
NES (same as above)
Genesis (sold again)
PlayStation (Metal Gear Solid changed my life)
All Sony ever since.
*I do have an old modded Xbox full of old roms but I don't count that.

That isn't fun for me, we live in a world where we tell kids not to bully one another cause it can be life altering for one of them even enough to have them hurt themselves. Yet our entertainment we enjoy most, seems to be bully one another to see how bad we can affect another's life and not care. Think about it, online games now days. Online games are no longer about who is better. In GTA, it's about a new player facing a player in a fighter jet or a tank or some other super high tech killing machine. The Division, players with optimized gear in groups of 4+ attacking solo players. Now games are adding taunts for when you down somebody. When anyone ask how is this acceptable, the response is "git gud" or "GET OUT!"
I'm right there with you. Friday the 13th was my first true online gaming experience. I've never been dedicated or good enough to play online, and it was kind of intimidating.
Online is a boat load of fun with the right people and I've met a lot of decent folks. But the anonymity of the internet prevails. The majority just wants to annoy anyone they can. They'll even admit it.
With that said, I'd like to see this be the biggest map of all the R* sandboxes. I'll never forget that feeling when I fully realized the breadth of San Andreas.
Back then obviously.

I'm predicting the ending now.

I'm fully on-board with the "Arthur dies and you play the last mission and free-roam as Marston" idea.
However, I don't think it's going to be Marston to kill him. Personally, I just can't see it.
The whole Dutch idea seems solid to me as he's a pretty well established bad guy type.
I thought I saw this is taking place ten or twelve years BEFORE the first game so I don't think the events of RDR2 will lead right up to the beginning of the first game. Unless there's a time jump.
