What makes this even more annoying is when you finally find the 3-star animal you are looking for, you shoot it and it goes down to 2 stars or 1 star. This happened to me several times when hunting squirrels, deer and elk.

I bought a boat for the camp but now I can't use it. What's up with that? What's the point having a boat when it can't be used?

yeah, i found some o'driscolls robbing a train near valentine. after killing them, i hopped on and did one full loop around the map, and no bounty, nothing. but yeah, the option to choose which way to go would be nice. I play on PS4.

i've killed plenty of wolves, but the problem is i can't remember getting a perfect pelt. then again, they were hunting me, now it's the other way around. so where's the best place to hunt wolves? and should i use regular or potent predator bait?

ok, i finally got my squirrel. now i need a badger, a buck (would that be a whitetail buck?) and then a panther and a wolf...

i tried to call my horse "Muffin" but the game stubbornly refused to accept that name. WHY? anyway, i called it wookie instead. later i tamed a wild horse and called it ewok, the one i ride now is called jabba. BTW, the current one is he white arabian from lake isabella. never thought i'd be able to tame that one 8-O

i got the naval compass for pearson (although he hasn't asked for it yet) from the braithwaites' boat house, but where is the old brass compass? i want that for a trinket (or was it a talisman?) Is it somewhere in saint denis, on a ship maybe? this brings up another issue: dutch has asked for a pipe, and i have one that says "pipe belonging to dutch" but when i talk to him, the option to give him the damn thing does not appear. what's going on?

I'm trying to get a perfect squirrel pelt, but how do I do that? Shooting them from horseback will guarantee that the squirrel won't be 3-star. If I get off the horse, I can't find any squirrels. Also, should I use the varmint rifle or small game arrows? When i was on that island to get a perfect iguana skin, I shot some turtles with small game arrows, and they went from 3 stars to 1 star. Should I have used the varmint rifle? But the main reason for this post is the perfect squirrel pelt. So how can I get one?

the other day i eliminated some O'Driscolls, then sold their wagon to seamus. then i wanted to buy something from him but i couldn't find him. so i went away. on the way to strawberry (to get micah out) i came across some O'Driscolls robbing some coach. of course i eliminated them, then took the coach to emerald ranch. this time seamus was there, but he had a bandage around his head, and he was very unfriendly. WTF?

i did some other stuff, like a treasure hunt, some bounty hunting and reunite jamie and mary, hoping micah's icon wou;ld appear so i can get on with it. but it didn't, and those guys are still there, blocking my way to blackwater. IOW, i still have the same problem. shooting those guys will only give me some bounty, and that won't do me any good 😞 do i have to go back to an earlier save?

i talked to dutch at the camp. he told me to get drunk with lenny, then get sean out. so i took lenny to valentine to get drunk, then i did something else (don't remember what) and then i tried to get to blackwater. and yes, javier's icon is on the minimap. has been for some time now. edit: oops, i screwed that up. when i talked to dutch, he told me to get micah out, not sean. javier's icon appeared after i did the americans at rest mission, long before i went to valentine with lenny. so, do i need to go to the camp and talk to dutch?

having all the ingredients is not an issue because hosea will give you what you need.

i'm replaying chapter 2, and at the moment i'm trying to get to javier near blackwater. the problem is that every time i try to cross the river, the law appears before i even get up the other side, forcing me to either shoot them or run away. the first time i did this mission, this didn't happen, and i could get to javier no problem. what am i doing wrong?

it's not easy getting a headshot on a squirrel that's running away :-(

i'm trying to get some perfect deer skins, but every time i find a 3-star deer and i shoot it, it goes down to 2 or sometimes 1 star. this happens every time, no matter what i shoot it with, even if i aim for the head. very annoying. what am i doing wrong? and BTW, i can't get a perfect squirrel either :-(

the only equipment i bought for my horse was new stirrups. sounds like they have increased speed and acceleration. what can i buy to get more stamina? no matter how much i get the critter to run, that arc refuses to go past 7-o'clock.

So the question is, which one has that rifle? Gotta keep an eye out for it...

When I look at the info for my horse, it shows me 7 white bars for speed and 6 for acceleration, and in both cases there are 2 yellow bars. What do those yellow bars mean? Can I make my horse faster? How?

How can I get rid of a gun (sell it, drop it, whatever)? I have a couple of guns that I don't use but I have to carry them. Can I sell them somewhere? Or drop them?
