Rdr2 graphics blurry PS4 Pro

For now the ps4 pro version is a failure for sure, im just hoping for a good fix and be able to disable motion blur.

I stopped playing because the effects of movement and blur hurt my head I can not play so I'll wait for a fix because it is more possible.

I'm leaning that way as well unfortunately. Having to downgrade resolution to 1080p is just not a viable workaround on a AAA title that took 8 years to make and was marketed as 4K by Sony along with creating a specialized 4K bundle with the Pro. It's disappointing.

Hey there,

I can't speak for others but my picture quality looks worse with HDR enabled from game settings. I hate to say this but now I am disappointed with this game with its lack of HDR and 4K support for which I paid for. The picture looks washed out and doesn't even brings out sharper and crisper image just like how 4K gaming should look like. If anyone else is having same issue and were able to resolve the problem please go on and reply to this chat (Note I am playing on LG27UK650 monitor). Also if not please talk with Rockstar support for them to bring more awareness of this issue. At this point I cannot even return this game since I purchased from PS Store digital....:(😥

Khajiit1 send a email to sony,  tell them how you feel, maybe they contact rockstar.

Frankly I will not waste my time I prefer to exchange with the community than with capitalists who will not even read my email.
They want to sell ps4 pro the rest he do not care royally

 

And it's rockstar to solve the problem not sony

The fact that the game broke sales records also tells me it could be just ignored. My usual go to for video game news, Reddit has all but forgotten the terrible PS4 Pro version of red dead 2.

Possibly. But damn I waited so long already for RDR2. For now, I'll be either playing it from across the room or downgrade the resolution on my PS4 Pro to 1080p

Hallway game? The game was open world, not to the extent of RDR, but it wasn't exactly linear. That's a poor comparison as well. Horizon Zero Daw was open world, wasn't native 4k and still absolutely jaw dropping. I expect nothing less from a game like RDR2.

RDR2 on the xboneX WILL STILL STUTTER AND BLUR IF YOUR playing on a “4K” Walmart special. PERIOD

Take a breath and relax cowboy. First I am coming from the PC world. Second I have a 2000 dollars LG OLED bought this year, and after that I recently bought a PS4 Pro because although I know from previous experiences that consoles normally moves games like sh*t, I was attracted by some of the PS4 games that I really wanted to play.

One clarification, Uncharted 4 looks great... while moving slowly or while not movin. When playing, 80% of the game, moves like sh*t. There you have my measure bar, you don’t like it, no problem. You don’t respect my opinion, then go **** yourself.

Yes you reason I did not express myself because it is semi open rather less than rdr2 but it displays less thing in the scene that's what I meant I corrected

I forget where I read (Digital Foundry?) but if its essentially the flawed implementation of 4k, the fix might be way more complex than a patch. I hope you are correct though.

Already on Xbox or Ps4 rockstar did not use the usual HDR which is actually not HDR read the article on xbox one X and PS4 Pro feels the same problem that the HDR brings nothing with or without on the 2 platforms

@porkovich thanks! So that makes at least 3 of us that have reported it to them. I also sent over a tweet to an IGN journalist to see if this thread can get some traction as were really the only place talking about it besides all the complaints on Twitter.
