What's not nice is there's absolutely no info from R* on account of the possible patch: no ETA, no details of what has to be expected (particularly for Pro users). Should we all just buy One Xs and boost their sales even more?) As a fella here said I won't go for it just because of the controller.

Well, it seems R* is working on a "Title update" as they confirmed . It will include a fix for the missing camp members, let's hope it includes a patch for the graphics .

Oh and to the people wondering about the PS4 controller to xbonex adapter...

there are several types. I haven’t used one yet but I had one for the 360 and the original Xbox... I’ve always sincerely hated their controllers.

Oh my god. The version of xbox one x and the ps4 pro version is different like night and day. What a big difference. All is looking better textures lighting particles. All. Not only the resolution. The hdr is a lot better on the x. I hope they fix the ps4 pro version. I love my pro. The controller of the one x is my biggest problem. On x is something more with the aiming wrong.

 

Thanxs Old Ken. With this I can use my high quality pro controller on the X right. I hope their is no input lag. I´m playing since 20 minutes now red dead redemption now on the x and the control is more laggy.

This looks terrible blurry to me. Look at the hud that is razorsharp. Looks a lot sharper on my tv. This is how it looks on my tv with standard ps4 pro hdmi cable. I can tell you all it is a big difference to use for the ps4 pro a premium cable and not the 5 Dollar Wallmart cable.

 

Hhhmm the second picture lokks sharper.

I found now a  problem, when two consoles are connected to the tv or other hardware  like tv tuner. You lost a lot of hdmi signal. Turn off all the other components. Image is cleaner and games with dynamic super resolution uses more the higher resolution. The input lag is lower.

I will sell my XBox One X when a blur patch is out. REal 4k is not looking better on my tv. The upscaling of my tv is doing a very good job, with good integrated checkerboard rendering. 10 Bit rendering is not working on the xbox one x. HDR looks not like the hdr on my PS4 Pro version b. Sony makes a better job in optimizing overall performance of the console. The only game that benefits enourmesly from the X is red dead redemption. It looks so different. Man what they do with the pro version.

You can´t play any title on the x, when updates downloading in the background. Framerates going down and the input lag of the controller is disgusting. No reason to use this console for other games. No game looks like the exclusive titles on the pro. This is a big disapointment to me. Aiming on the x with this crappy controller is more luck as anything else.

Yes it is the biggest disapouintment to me.

 

Edit: THe Xbox one x has the same problems like windows 10. It is to much working in the background. This is not a real gaming console for me. I will play and not work.

Izt makes no sence, if we receive no possible answers from Rockstar. I give up. I´m installing now Watch Dogs 2. Ubisoft titles are good titles on the ps4 pro.

I sell my xbox one x, because thirty frames doesn´t looks smooth on the X. It is choppy for my eyes not smooth on all games I ve installed.

It is possible that they aren't giving a sh*t, but this would be surprising considering they spent all these years making this game. This is now their flagship game so it would be hard to believe they don't give a sh*t about it. No one can make a game like RDR2 and not be absolutely passionate about it.

All we can really do is wait and see if this issue gets addressed. If not, we will have to decide what we want to do. Either to stop buying R* games (which I sense is not an option) or to bite the bullet and buy an XBOX ONE X and another copy of the game.

R* is an unstoppable force and they know it. They will get away with this if it is their intention to ignore the issue.

Why do you sell your xbox X? The RDR2 have the best performance a visual in X you have another experience...

This is starting to be my perception as well. Far Cry 5 (I know, different dev) didn’t really communicate out before bug fixes and they fixed some of the big ones weeks after release.
