Rdr2 graphics blurry PS4 Pro

@0ldKen We definitely feel your frustration man. It bothers me... A lot. It was the first and only complaint I had about the game on the first day I played it. I'm waiting patiently as the developers work diligently on their first patch. No doubt it'll be a big patch whenever it does get released. I understand we have no word on whether or not this particular issue is being addressed at all. With that being said, it's best we hold our frustration so that you can prepare for the worst; you don't want to ruin your mood day in day out to then figure out the patch hasn't fixed the problem. 😰

Well,

Been playing with dynamic camera off, hdr off and ps4 video settings all on automatic, with a 4k tv with a game mode,

i can say its alot better, no headache or painfull eyes but still not wath you'd expect when you see the trailers . I do believe in a way that the graphical setup was on purpose to create the west setting , on xbox one x it creates that look almost perfectly .

I tried to play in 1080p but for me thats worse than the settings i mentoined , a friend is playing on a regular ps4 and it looks great,

Online opart is launching end of the month , i expect a patch/fix near the end of next week so they have a week extra to see if it works for the online launch . If they dont release a patch next week then on the day they launch the online part, no way they want the multiplayer with thousands of ps4 players to look like this and to fail .

Hi guys I have been following this post from the Beginning and...... I am ashamed to say I finally caved in and went out and bought an xbox one x just to play this game, the difference between the the x version and the pro version is sickening I recommend anyone else do the same as I don't think this will be fixed, I am enjoying this game so much more now it isn't a blurry mess its just a shame i hade to go and buy an new console just because neither rockstar or sony are taking notice of this game breaking problem.

This is the wrong way. If you have the money it is the better option.

This game is also bugged in sidequests on both consoles. My autosave is no more and now I´m done with this crap. At the end of second act played 40 hours. This game is a shame on the pro, not only in graphical aspects.

 

This is really strange, you tube deleted my video with the blur issues of red dead redemption. A lot more videos that shows that issue are no more. I

That is so strange but this reduces the hyper blur for me.

The TAA is off with this setting. This wrote a user in the DF Thread.

[PSA] Set your new PS4 Dualshock 4 controller as USB connection for low input lag

 

If you own the new PS4 DS4 controller (CUH-ZCT2), for best result set it on USB connection instead of Bluetooth. Settings > Devices > Controllers > Communication Method

to bad I lost 5 hours of gameplay in act 2 Now you see what other guys mean with the HDR blur too and why turning off hdr helps a bit.

That only helps the controller lag.

and guess what???? YOU CANT DO THAT WITH XBONEX! Wireless controllers cause lag... period.

yes using the wired controller option kills controller lag which in turn will HELP with the nauseous feeling you get from turning the camera. BUT it does not fix the motion blur.

Dude... you missed my point entirely. I wasn’t saying the graphics were better or anything other than I honestly had less pain playing in 1080p. That’s it.

i was saying that others claims that things were IMPROVED were WRONG. But for some unknown reason it IS less taxing on the eyes.

Again Placebo? but the control is better? Better response times. I´m sure now it has something to do with the day night cicle. On night and evening I have not the big blur issues. Only the stoopid motion blur effect. It is much clearer.

I will test something now I bought now the german discversion. A disc I can sell.

So I´ve tested it. And the graphic looks clearer to me, but the response of my controller is very low when I switch the communication method to usb in the controller settings. Nearly no response. I´m using at all time a 3m USB 3.0 cable, because of battery power.

I wonder what this would require. Only way I can think of is with a physical copy and deletion of all RDR2 data, then start it without being connected to the internet.

I´ve ordered the disc version it comes on wednesday. I read something about it, Strange is that the version before day 1 has over 100 GB and the version that I bought on day one has 92 GB. Stramge all is strange.

I looked with the usb connection at the game and the game looks clearer but stutters like hell. TAA is not working. I become nearly no response from the controller in odyssey to. Blue tooth connection is faster for me.

The mission with stealing horses is unplayable for me. over 20 runs in this mission and my npcs were killed from bullets out of nowhere.

Has anyone this issue. The mission is in act 2.

 

Maybe it is a fake. But I think they have a deal with microsoft. This game could be look a lot better.

I have no fun with the game. It is not the game for what I´ve wait so long.

 

I becoming more and more mad how longer I play the game and think about all the issues. I need a breakout.

I can´t use supersampling wwith my 4k tv. The ps4 pro supersampling option is only working with full hd tv´s right ?

I´m going crazy, but I want give up.

Since I think it requires a total data deletion for RDR2, people are probably apprehensive. I might try it since my game was bugged by the missing gang members glitch.

For those worrying about their save-file in RDR after uninstalling the game because of trying to avoid the first day patch: Just upload your save-file in the settings before uninstalling.

Ok, I can´t play the game anymore. It is the same for me with playing trevor in GTA V. I will not kill or suppress and abuse poor people. This game shows me right now, that money is the only thing, for survive. It shows the violence against the poor. It shows how the guys of rockstar think. Ok I must realize that is not a game for me. You have no chance to play a person, that is no killer or murder. This game triggers me in many ways. I´m out. It is the same for me to playing Trevor in GTAV. I can not identify with a murderer and I can not play one.  I will go my own way in a open world game like this. I will not go this way.

You can think I´m whiny now. I wish you all good Luck now that the game receives a patch in the near upcoming future, but I will deinstall it now for all time.  This game shows me a pervert way.

The game shows me the meaning of the heads of rockstar. It is not a game anymore for me. It shows violence against the poor. I can only play a murder or killer and not an outlaw that can change this missstands and live free. Sorry my traumatization goes on with the game. This is no game for me. It shows me the world in that we live.
