Raptor337
What is the point of skinning animals that aren't a 3 star or legendary? Unless I'm missing something, it seems pointless to do. I love hunting, and I like seeing how many pelts and bodies I can pile on my horse but what's the point? Is there a place I can store them or use them for something? Konan
To my knowledge you can sell them...for instance to the cook of your base camp.
Kean_1
I have been selling mine to the butcher in Valentine. Of course, pelts in "poor" condition won't fetch as much as those in better shape. I try to use my bow and get headshots but I have also pulled out the rifle and taken down a handful of game too for a quick harvest. ......with the idea of quantity over quality to make a quick buck. Dmannola
Is there anywhere you can store perfect pelts? Not on my horse. That way you can craft at them later
Raptor337
Ya that's about the only think I've found also, but even then you only get a few cents or a couple dollars. I wonder why they wouldn't have let us make other clothing with the worse pelts and just had the better pelts make "cooler" clothing. Dmannola, you bring perfect pelts to the butcher at your camp, you "donate" them and he holds them until you need to use them. When you do that you can see them in the satchel upgrades for the specific satchel that requires that kind of pelt
