Can you store money in the bank??? got loads don't want it robbed when dead

Does anybody know if you could deposit or save/store money in the bank???

Got tons of money and don't wanna lose big chunk percentage of it robbed when died during game.

Would really sucks when respawn and see minus hundreds of dollars.

Anyone know at all???

Very good question   I'm worried about that too.  My only plan at the moment is to make it back safely to places where I can spend the cash - get as many upgrades, customisation options, equipment, etc as I can - at least those wont be taken from me!

 

Edit: Can you just manually save often, and reload to a before death point?

Of course. You always have the option to be a save scum lord. Just kidding, I save a lot myself. 

To the OP, that would actually be pretty useful, but knowing Rockstar, they'd have random gangs constantly robbing the bank you use and you'd still end up losing your money. And then when you have a quest to track them down, they fire on you and when you return fire and kill them you get a bounty put on you for murder.
