Finding Elite Horse near Lake Isabella!?

Hi,

I have spent what feels like 4 days trying to find this white horse in the snow near Lake Isabella. I have watched videos and I just simply cannot find this bloody stallion! When I first went to this area I went on the legendary animal hunt yet I never seen the horse during this gun fight and hunt. I have not seen foxes kill the horse either.

I have been back to this location days later and still can't find it, never seen it once! I have even camped and slept to see if this helps and still no sign of it. Has it died and therefore I cannot get access to this horse now?

Weird, I literally just went up there and got it. Double check on the map from the video that you're in the right place. That's all I can suggest, otherwise it's just not there for you, so maybe push through some missions and go back up.

I'm definitely in the right area, west side of the lake - it is just simply not there!

Maybe doing the legendary animal hunt before scared it off?

With Rockstar games, there is a general randomness to such things.    You may have to ride away and comeback later, then again you could travel a little ways camp, comeback and check, rinse and repeat till it shows.   I know in RDR and most GTA games there was certain times in game that increased chances of spawning what you needed.

I feel like I have done all of this and the horse just won't come out to play!!

Then maybe you need go do another mission and comeback and check.

I have, done loads of main missions, loads of random ones - I have been going back every couple of days and just cannot get it!

I know in other Rockstar games that there are just somethings that won't spawn when you want them too.   If it hasn't happened either you need to waste days waiting for it to happen or leave and comeback after a doing a mission, or comeback at a different time in the day.   Or it could just be a glitch, cause of the factors you mentioned.  You was doing a legendary hunt.   Right now it is speculation at this point, but I say keep trying.  Rockstar usually doesn't just do a one and done type of side quests like this unless you complete it.

I feel you mate. Same for me, been up there running round the lake, up the mountains, camped, gone away and done missions and returned, logged out and back in and still not sign of it..

Does it say you've entered a Legendary Animal area when you go there? That's what it said for me - although mine turned up right away (I snuck around quietly without a horse) maybe its worth setting up a herbivore lure and seeing if that works.
