Look at my work Serial killer , clue 3 missing? Bug? Please help

Hello, I'm in chapter 3, already got 2 clues, found 3rd place and ..... Ye and what ? No body or clue there, but still the body parts, blood etc still here. Just not what I need.. Found nothing in internet about it, mb You guys got any ideas ? If I'm the only one should I wrote to Rockstar with it ?

This is the only one I've found. It was near some a railroad bridge with a mangled corpse.

I cannot see the pictures on my phone... So maybe my respons wont help you... But did you check behind the tree? There i found the head,with scroll in it.

Have you tried eagle eye, I used that to find the clue by the tree. 

I find R* support very unhelpful. Spoke to them a few times, they nearly suggest everytime "Have you held R1 and L1 together?" Yes I have as it seems to be your answer to everything R*. 😡

Did You have body on tree ? Everything was normal ? And only use eagle eye? Or You had the same problem ? And eagle eye fix it ?

Still had the body. Just thought maybe the map could still be there and maybe eagle eye would reveal it. Very strange but if it isn't there at all. I found it on chapter 2 so it must be progress related.

After I finished killer clue 2, I lost my horse and load the auto save progress immediately, then facing the clue 3 problem, I think maybe there is loading error

I'm in Germany, and just had the same problem. Anybody came up with a solution yet or will we get to wait for a patch?

If you're stuck on the tree one, the head is behind the tree. Unfortunately, I got to this page because I have a missing clue. I got the tree one (South of Rhodes) first, then the one near Strawberry. But the clue near Valentine isn't there. No body, no blood, no writing.

Alright, I'm telling what happened to me, I didn't follow a guide so I found the clues in a different order.

First I found the tree, than the guy on the tracks, but the last one on the side of the road never showed up... going back to the Tree there was the last clue, in the same place as the first.

Try looking again at the other two places, maybe the serial-killer made the same crime twice.

It did "work" get 3rd part of map, but situation like with Saint Denis vampire, got full map and no "X" on map . Same with killer like it didn't interact with game , got whole map get notification but no ? Next to valentine where he should be ... Rly annoying

There is no head in my game, just a stick. Rockstar last recommendation was to reset my PS4 which I will not do because of this issue.

Theres definitely a loading error. 

Somehow this was the first body I found, but I didnt know about the quest, so I didn't look for a map. When i found out about the quest i went back but there was no body, no blood, no word carved in the tree. 

I had to shut the game off and restart it a few times before it loaded properly.

I have the same issue, found 3rd clue  as arthur, forgot about, found 1&2 as john, now i have nothing for 3rd clue and nothing at tree. I think this is a BIG fubar, its not only happening with this mission. If we needed to do things by only one person and in a certain order we should have been made aware of this and scenes should not have triggered out of sequence.

I don't think this bug is permanent. I believe you need to find all 3 clues with the same character. I found the first as Arthur and the second as John, when I went to the location for the third one, it wasn't there, then I went back to the first location and the third clue was there. I hope this help.
