I'm here because patch removed the "Take off offhand holster" workaround

Greetings, I am here because until now I just played the game, enjoyed it, and that's it, had no reason to be active on forums, BUT....

We were petitioning for a change to add the option to remove the unrealistic and stupid looking fanny pack secondary holster, but people found a workaround to remove it,
with simply using your -legally saved- old outfits BEFORE the time you received that unrealistic and stupid looking fanny pack secondary holster. Yet the new patch DOES NOT ADD an option to remove the secondary holster, (like you can use "no bandolier", or the fact that you can -unequip- the secondary gun, but not it's holster...) but it kills the workaround we all used to remove it. The patch also removed all custom outfits saved BEFORE receiving the fanny-pack holster, meaning that content that were legally saved by the user, was removed....

So I am here to ask my questions, and search for support to make this very unreal (badly placed....) FORCED aesthetic that breaks the immersion for a lot of people, an OPTION instead of a forced change.
-Bandoliers is selectable, you can use "no bandolier".
-we had the option to remove this secondary holster, but you erased our legally saved old outfits that lacked it.
-we have the option to remove the secondary gun, then we should have the option to get rid of the empty holster.
-people who like this ugly fanny pack thing that noone used facing this way in the wild west, should have the option to wear it if they want, but this choice should not be forced on those who DISLIKE IT very much, and HAD the workaround to remove it, but you deleted their old outfits.
-this option is a very small change, and can raise the immersion quite much + ppl used workarounds to get rid of it ALREADY. Give us back the choice to play without it, please.

Welcome to the forum Nobon! I didn't know a lot of people were that upset over it. I found it to be an annoyance but I didn't want to pester Rockstar over it. I may do so just for the support. Not sure how far a petition will get you in your cause but God speed good sir!

I also signed up because I saw these threads about the off hand holster outfits being purposely removed.  I also replied to the main thread in the RDR2 section.

it ****ing sucks moment they patched it i started a new Game Happily Done it  because i loved the story happy complete again in the future 

but the moment you get the off hand holster even though you are wearing your saved outfit " Without the off hand holster " it will not let you save the game at all mother ****ing thing is locked so i remembered i had the auto save after i got the off hand holster just before i switched back to my custom outfit without the offhand  and guess what  my custom outfits was of course gone 

as sad as this is going to sound i will keep signing many petitions and keep tweeting to Rockstar until they add the  feature to remove the off hand holster in single player never liked it at all and i do not remember John having a off hand in RD1
