Camp locations on map

Is there a trick to getting the dots to show on the map for the different gang camps? I try to find the camps for the different gangs but in the videos I watch, they show little dots on the map for where they are, and I don’t have those when I open my map-is there something I’m doing wrong?

i've never gotten hte dots either and i have all but 1 camp that i can get to in chapter 4.  I'd guess they edit the video to show the dots?

I'll have to check for sure when i get home from work tonight, but i'm pretty sure i've done Leymoine Raiders (you do that in the story line), Murphrey Brood, Laramie, and pretty sure i've done O'Driscolls.  I know i haven't gotten any  past Blackwater - Del Lobo, Pre-Order Special Edition one, and Smith Brothers or something like that (these last 2 might be the same gang).

@Kormath what chapter in the game do you do the lemoyne ones? And how did u find the o”Driscoll one by Calibans seat?  That’s the only one of the o’driscoll camps I have left

I'm only a few missions into chapter 4.  Trying to finish all the crafting items from the Trapper that i can before I move forward.

Looks like I'm missing one of the Lemoyne Raider camps.  I don't recall going to Caliban's seat

Maybe that's the one you get taken to when kidnapped in the story?

But I have 100% for O'Dridcoll's camps, all camps and both hideouts.

Missing the hideout for the Murfree Brood also but I know where that is, must not have saved it, or forgot to go do it again after restoring my game.

So now I have 2 gangs undiscovered, somehow I killed 5 Los Lobos guys.  I must have done that on a run into the restricted area of West Elizabeth somehow I'm guessing.

@Kormath the one I’m taking about by caliban, from the videos I’ve watched, is one that is up on a cliff and you have to go through some brush to get to it-where did u find that one?

Nope, i'm still stuck at 2/3 for Lemoyne Raiders.   No idea where the one i'm missing is.  Online searches are no help at all.

I really don't know how i got all the O'Driscoll camps.  I don't remember going on a cliff and finding a camp, but i may have in all my hunting I did for the trapper gear.

@Kormath it’s veey frustrating isn’t it? I’m in same situation with the lemoyne ones and searching on YouTube for where to find the last O’Driscoll camp isn’t much help

Found a video finally of all 3 Lemoyne Raider camps.  Waiting for my game to load now to go check them out.  I read somewhere the camp locations aren't static, so we'll see if these are right.

THey weren't there for me.  Maybe because i've cleared the hideout in the story missions?  3 camp locations are attached.  Also read in another forum there's possibly a camp near Catfish Jackson's shack.   I didn't think to look there when i was hunting panther last night.  I'll check that out today.

Found nothing.  I saw smoke from a campfire where one of these camps is marked, but when i got there, no camp was to be found.  I think i'm screwed finding these where i already took over their hideout in story mode.  Or maybe it's a time of day thing and i just missed it.

@Kormath well that sucks 😥 but isn’t it just the hideouts that need cleared, not the camps, to go towards 100 percent completion?

I can confirm the southern most camp location.  Just ran across it but it wasn't the one I needed, no lawman tied up to rescue.

Camp West of Southfield flats is also confirmed, but alas no lawman to rescue.
