Controls issue

I played the game several games and it seemed to work fine. However now whenever I have to hold a button to activate a menu, it just keeps flashing/resetting not letting me, same when have to hold y for a couple seconds, it flashes and resets bar preventing you from doing so, have switched wired controller, and went to wireless, it does it no matter what I try.

i've had this happen a few times.  Exiting the game and a hard boot of the console fixed it for me.  Always best to exit the game when you're done playing for the night or other extended periods.

Thank you for letting us know. It's too often that people get advice here and never come back to say if it works or not.

FYI that's a common fix for many bugs in many games. If you encounter a weird bug, that's usually the first thing you should try.

I ended up finding this out after my cat knocked down my Playstation. I have it positioned funny right now because I am waiting on a new TV stand to be delivered and she was messing with something so I yelled at her and when she jumped down her leg caught one of the wires. Thankfully it didn't break but now I know how to fix issues in the game without having to rely on my cat. lol
