Trinkets

For the trinkets I have the fence craft after killing a legendary animal, are they automatically applied? Or do I need to manually equip them?

i thought that was talisman you could equip and only the 2 equipped were active?

@Truth so for the ones the fence crafts, they are automatically applied and I don’t have to equip them like I would have to do for talismans?

The trinkets are all automatically active. I'm not sure about the talismans, but @Kormath is probably right:
