is the waypoint bugged ?

i noticed since i started playing ( im now level 250 ) that whenever i set a waypoint , i will never see gang hideouts / escorts / rescue / ambush / and even at some point birds etc

Interesting......  

That hasn't been my experience as we see hideouts still pop up with a waypoint selected.  Last night for example, we ran across two and I'm almost certain my posse leader had waypoints set up both times as we rarely travel without one.

i must say that it happens to me when im out of posse but if im posse leader my teammate see the hideout  before i do
