horses disappearing

every time i catch a horse i carefully hitch the animal on the character camp, but every time i return the horse disappears. i already searched on the forum for help on saving the new horses but couldn't find anything. i already tried to catch one wild horse and after tried to save by putting the character on rest, but it still doesn't work. all horses disappear after  a while 😕 any ideas on how to securely hitch a new horse on camp?

Is this in online mode? I don't think it will allow you to keep it. At least that was my experience the couple times I tried to do that in online mode. You have to buy them.

In Storymode (single player), it is suppose to allow you to keep it. So that can be a way to get horses without paying for them.

what? really? what a trash! i only played 2 days the multiplayer and atm it seems an extremely poor version of the single player game. it's ridiculous... we should be able to keep a few horses that we get in the wild. it would make the game more interesting.

I thought you could tame a wild horse both on and offline and be able to save it in your stable, up to 4 horses. Maybe I am a bit behind on updates or something but I could have sworn this is how it always worked.
