**POSSIBLE SPOILER** Access to leather working tools in ledger

I have completed the Herr Strauss initial debt recovery (Wrobel), have access to the ledger, and want to purchase the leather working tools for Pearson. However, when I turn to the page in the ledger, another item's price is circled and the leather working tools do not seem to be accessible. Is there a way to get to them? Is there something I have to buy first?

I'm assuming the issue is that the selected item is the one on the left page, while the leather working tools are on the right page?

If I remember right, I believe the arrow keys are what you use to select the upgrade you want. Assuming you're using a keyboard; if not, I have no idea.
