How to slam into people without getting on top of them

I ve seen people on the consoles to perform this move but I have no idea how to reproduce it on pc. Does anyone know how to pull off this move with the PC controls?

I'm on ps4 but it should be the fire button. You have to be within 2 or 3 feet from them on the run , tap the fire button for a running body check. Knocks them down and gives you a easy kill. Hope this helps

Yeah I know, figured as much from the video. The thing is, both the fire button and the melee button perform the tackle, at least for me, playing with mouse and keyboard. I know you will probably think that I am doing it wrong, and I probably am but I can't quite figure what exactly it is that I am doing wrong. Thanks for the response anyhow. Appreciate it.

I tried doing this on PC and it didn't work for me either. Tried with a controller and a keyboard. Not sure if there is a functioning bug happening here or what.

I was curious about this and sent Rockstar a support message to see if something is up with it. I don't know when I will hear back but I will let ya'll know if/when I do!
