Taming horses?

So i was just wondering, if i shoot the horse, and then use the reviever (when im taming it), will it stats somehow get weaker or something like that?

If you're trying to make the taming process easier, you may as well just watch a few youtubes on this and learn how to break horses - it's not really that difficult.  I managed most of them just by holding the thumbstick to one side or the other (into the turn) until the horse tired out

It is easy to tame horses, like mentioned. There is no need to do what you mentioned, the only thing it will do is slow down the process and waste a revive.
