Stuck with high hostility (PC)

Yesterday some script kiddie teleported a bunch of people together and started spam exploding everything around us.  As I ran away, my hostility level climbed to high and has been stuck there ever since.  Put in a ticket but I am sure they wont get to that for a week or two.  I am perma red now. Can't go anywhere. lol  Any other ideas?

I am not sure how that could have happened but it was likely caused by the other players. You account might just be put in an extended cool-down period where you remain in high hostility much longer as a punishment even though this wasn't your fault.

I never heard of such a thing in this game. I thought once you get off a server or go offline and then come back, it wipes the slate. Am I missing something?

In the handful of occasions my hostility has been heightened its taken in-game time to return it to low - going offline and coming back the next day or so doesn't do it.
