simplerfi 0
Replacing damaged game disk I have RDR2 Ultimate game disks and RDR2 Ultimate game saved to Xbox. If game disk becomes damaged, do I have to replace game disk with like Ultimate game disk for Xbox to recognize it and saved game or can I replace with less expensive download regular game and still have Xbox recognize my Ultimate game and Ultimate game saves? Parzival 286
AFAIK, there's no difference in the disks themselves, so just buying a regular copy should be fine.
simplerfi 0
Thanks Parzival. Wife and I are afraid of losing a years worth of game play, both of us lvl 170+. To double check, even a pre-owned disk would get me back in? I'd rather spend $20 for a used disk than another $100 for a new Ultimate disk. I noticed edge of this disk starting to delaminate, so it's when, not if. Another lame question please. As long as I save our paid for game in Xbox, Xbox does not care which RDR2 disk, new, used, Standard or Ultimate is used to start the game with? I save game to Xbox console and just use disk to start the game.
Parzival 286
Yeah, pretty much any RDR2 disk will work as long as its not for a different platform. I can't answer your second question because I'm on PS4.
