I did a search for this topic, so if it is out there, please forgive me for creating a new one but I have a question.

I am brand new to the game but I am having difficulty with the graphics.

Why are the graphics so much better in Story Mode than in Online mode on my PC?

Probably because online gaming is constantly having to evolve, so the company has to cut a few corners here and there to keep it running as smooth as possible. They may have made the graphics a little less realistic in exchange for a faster frame rate. Or it could be on your end, depending on hat kind of monitor/TV you're using. it could be any one of a hundred things, or none of those hundred things. Without a direct comment from Rockstar, you're probably not going to be able to do much about it.

On console, I hadn't noticed any sort of significant difference between the campaign and Online.  Perhaps its different on PC and/or something to do with your settings, hardware, etc. as mentioned.

Thanks for the input! I have played more with the settings and have been able to make them more similar.
