I've gone to the campsite to locate the Special Miracle Tonics recipe is not in the lock box. I've searched my satchel  I don't have the recipe and the fence hasn't the pamphlet. I'm on chapter 2 Any suggestons

Are you sure you’re at the right camp? It can be a massive pain in the ass to get sometimes. If it’s not in there then you’re most likely facing a glitch. You could try shutting down and restarting your game. I don’t know what platform you game on, but if you’re sure you haven’t already gotten it, then it’s probably a weird glitch. Are you playing the special or ultimate version? That may be an issue. I don’t know what all the things are bonus’s and what aren’t.

Kean probably knows more than I do.

Thank you The Blackangel for your help. I'm sure that I'm at the correct location. I'm playing the on my PC and it the standard edition. I've returned numerous times to see if it respawns but it hasn't so far.  I can't advance in the challenge until I find and read the recipe.  I guess I'll have to wait to see if it will be there when and if I advance to Chapter 3. Once again thanks for your help.

Unfortunately, that's not the case as I stopped playing the campaign nearly 5 years ago when Red Dead Online came out.  .....and the last time I dabbled in RDO was about a year or two ago.  Sorry @mike1956ny.

Your best bet (unless someone who knows chimes in) will be to do a search online and see if you can find the answer. You can also do a search in these forums to see if anyone had the same problem and if they found a solution.
