Before I start a mission, I equip my usual loadout, (Rare rolling block rifle, Carbine, 2x Double actions, fire bottles, and tomahawks)

And when I start up the mission, i changes it to a lasso, a 1899, a double action and a lancaster, its so annoying that i cant play with the best loadout bucause the game goes ''Oh WeLl ItS EaSiEr tO PLaY WiTh tHe lAnCsTeR So IlL GiVe tHe PlAyEr tHaT''

What platform do you play on? I’m posting from my phone, so I can’t see where you game. I’ve had a similar issue, with it unequipping the guns I have at the ready when I dismount my horse. As for it changing your chosen weapons, are you sure the ones you’re not wanting are in your weapon locker and not stored on your horse? That could be a reason for the problem you’re having. The only other thing I can think of is a glitch. There’s bugs and glitches everywhere in the game. Some are just annoying, while others are infuriating. Some just look goofy, while others get you killed. It all depends on every detail of your place in the game. Chapter, missions, hell even your clothes can make a difference. I’m not kidding about that.

It's annoying, yeah You're forced to use the Carbine Repeater in two missions, and the Double-Action Revolver in one. The latter is particularly annoying because it's so low-powered compared to others. But at least revolver ammo is so plentiful even without buying any at a shop, though.

Hi,

I went on the mission to take Sadie into Rhodes at the beginning of Chapter 3 for me to discover that my game equipped my with my varmint rifle!!

I guess it will chose that weapon that you were last using as I had used the varmint rifle just before when doing one of the challenges.

I've had it pick weapons I haven't used at all beforehand, so that's not it. I think in most cases the game just picks what weapon it thinks is best suited to the given need.

The repeater is the games go-to for every mission, even if you don’t have it equipped and/or stored on your horse. In Pouring Forth Oil, the repeater is forced on you. If you already own a shotgun, even if you don’t use it, that is given as your second weapon. When we all load up on the wagon, I usually jump off the wagon and grab my Springfield off my horse so I have a weapon that can kill something other than grass. It’s a hassle, but worth it if you ask me.
