The Story Of RDR2

I've seen a lot of talk online about us not knowing enough about the story of Red Dead Redemption II. That there's still so much to learn before release in October. But Rock Star has already given us this premise:

"America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed. After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him."

Making your way across the country making camp sites and moving on all the time really excites me for some reason. 

And no, just enough to whet your appetite is by far enough info. Especially as there's only 2 months left until we get our hands on it.

I opened this because I was interested to know more but I'm glad its not been greatly touched upon.

I suppose its a fair guess to say that the robbery going badly wrong must be the Blackwater Massacre of 1899. Its got to be something big for the Van der Linde gang to draw that much heat.
