The PC release of Red Dead Redemption 2 is almost upon us and Rockstar wants to make sure you can jump into the open world the moment the game goes live. You can now pre-load Red Dead Redemption 2 if you have pre-ordered it, and considering the massive install size the head start is a godsend. Plus, check out the new launch trailer while you're at it!
Much like the first PC trailer, this one also runs at 60 FPS in 4K, demonstrating the full extent of the new version's visual enhancements compared to the console releases. The launch trailer clocks in a just under a minute, which is a stark contrast to the other high profile launch trailer released this week - Death Stranding's launch trailer was a whole eight minutes. We prefer short and to the point.

Even if you have already played the game on consoles, this trailer is bound to get you into the mood to experience Arthur Morgan's exciting, violent and tragic journey with the Van Der Linde gang, now with a number of enhancements as well as additional content.
The system specifications of the game were revealed a while ago, including a 150 GB space requirement. If that download seems daunting to you, we understand - not everyone has Google Fibre. Luckily, all fans who have pre-ordered the game can already pre-load the game, allowing you to jump into the action and heartbreak the instant the game goes live.
Doing so is extremely simple - just fire up the Rockstar Games Launcher, navigate to the Red Dead Redemption 2 tab and click on the big Pre-Load button. The download should begin automatically, and we're guessing five days is plenty of time to get it downloaded.
We can't wait to delve into the vast open-world Rockstar has created for Red Dead Redemption 2 once again.
