  1. It's funny, but I always view Bone Tomahawk as a spiritual successor to The 13th Warrior (the original book, Eaters of the Dead, Crichton based off of Beowulf). The villains are remarkably similar, and the two make for a fantastic double feature. BT is one of those films where you sit down and have a completely different theory of where the story is going as opposed to how it ends up. I know @Cokeyskunk would rather have more supernatural elements to potential DLC, ala RDR's Undead expansion, but based on the growth of GTAV post launch through content updates, there's certainly room for multiple options once the release cycle ramps up for DLC on RDR2. I do think they should keep some of the more outlandish ideas for later in the cycle: focus more on expanding the narrative and world building through the initial DLC offerings and sprinkle in hints of what is coming down the line, but keep it under wraps. I also wouldn't mind seeing limited time events occur in-world. Several games do this, and it'd be cool to see R* explore this option.

  2. Agreed. Far Cry 5 was the last thing I was invested in and I finished that months ago.

  3. I opened this because I was interested to know more but I'm glad its not been greatly touched upon. I suppose its a fair guess to say that the robbery going badly wrong must be the Blackwater Massacre of 1899. Its got to be something big for the Van der Linde gang to draw that much heat.

  4. Making your way across the country making camp sites and moving on all the time really excites me for some reason. And no, just enough to whet your appetite is by far enough info. Especially as there's only 2 months left until we get our hands on it.

  5. Hey Blondie, how about you tell me the name on the grave and I'll tell you the name of the cemetery? Welcome to the forum dude, look forward to seeing your contributions.

  6. Welcome, Stranger! Glad to have ya 'round the campfire. We're camping righ-'chere until the game's launch in October, and intend to talk about it until then -- mostly speculatin', mind you. And when the game launches, we'll get into the heavier discussion about the game's dynamics and should be a pretty nice resource for improving your gameplay. That is . . . keepin' yourself alive. 😁 We're glad to have ya. Kick off yer boots, grab some barbecue, and pull up a comfy rock by the fire. Let's talk.
