  1. I personally liked the intensity of joining an online game and having to find an ammo refill location to refill your ammo and at the same time watching all around you in case someone shoots you or attacks you. Of course, they could change it to a system like GTA 5 online where you have to go into a store and purchase weapons/ammo. The plus is that when you buy your ammo on GTA 5 online, it's there when you play the next time, whereas in RDR you had to refill it all again. Also, you'd run the risk of people waiting for you outside like they do in GTA 5 when you're in a store or your apartment which is kind of annoying sometimes. Any thoughts as to what you'd change or keep the same?
  2. lmao Great video I laughed hysterically! I love around the 1:15 mark, the old man in the chair in the poker room has C3P0 eyes lol!
  3. Just a few thoughts...I personally hope they keep the hardcore mode as well. I played mainly hardcore because it is way more challenging. Actually, I think it would be awesome if they had a game mode where even if you had your weapon drawn, or were running/moving, you still did not show up on the map. In other words, you could walk right by someone in a town or wherever, and not even know if they were an NPC or not. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to clear out a gang hideout, and someone transporting to your area just so they can shoot you while you're preoccupied. If you weren't on the map at all, they would not know you're there unless they notice you in passing your area. That would be more realistic. I also HATE the bright neon green star or whatever symbol, hovering above your head. It's kind of hard to hide from someone with this heat score symbol telling everyone where you are. It would also make it more challenging when you're trying to find someone. I'm not saying to ditch the Normal game mode, of course, but it would be fun for a lot of players to implement this challenging mode. You could even keep the Friendly mode for the more unskilled players who like to just run around and shoot horses. I also think that if you level up in one mode, you shouldn't be able to carry it over to the other game mode. For instance, if you reached level 25 in Friendly mode, then go over to hardcore, you would still have to start at level 1 in Hardcore because your progress was reached in Friendly mode.
  4. Thank you all for the warm welcome! Looking forward to some great conversations regarding this game, especially as we get closer to the release date!

  7. Thank Hi and thanks! Apologies, I thought I had originally posted in the 'Introduce Yourself' but I guess I didn't. lol Thanks for moving it!
  8. I get more and more excited every day. I waited sooooo long just to hear whether or not R* was going to even make this game. When they finally did, I was and still am excited and looking forward to it. The fact that it has been delayed is not something I was happy about, but I truly believe that if waiting a few months longer will make it a better experience. I'll put it to you this way....the day this game comes out, I will be playing it for about 3 days straight, and I will be taking time off work to really dive into it. I love RDR that much. Yes, I'm crazy.
  9. I am a huge Black Sabbath/Ozzy fan, and love their song 'Jackthestripper' off the Paranoid album. Also, it's funny to anyone who has heard of the infamous murderer Jack the Ripper. Yes, I need to get out more lol
  10. Hi all, I found this site from the GTA forums. I've been a huge R* fan since the first Manhunt. RDR is my favorite game of all time, I still play it on PS NOW, as I dumped my PS3 when I bought my PS4. HUGE mistake! RDR on PS NOW is laggy and it's frustrating. Might buy a used PS3 just to play some RDR until RDR2 comes out.
