I would have preferred to see your name be "TlkDirtyToMe". A bit more visual poetry in that gem of a song. As for me, it all comes down to this: Captain Chaos, and every derivative thereof, was taken on PSN. I've always been "Captain Chaos," and was heartbroken I couldn't be for my gamertag. I tried other names for upwards of ten minutes. Finally, I remembered something my wife had recently said: We were driving home one night, and I had a large fountain drink of Coca-Cola. I took a sip and was surprised at how good it was. I told my wife she needed to try it because it was so good. The instant she took a sip, we drove into the most noxious cloud of skunk stink you've ever smelt. Honestly, it was putrid. My wife, mouth full of soda, reacted: "Eeehhwww! It tastes like cokey skunk!" So, I tried that on the PSN. It worked. (shocking) Now I have to deal with people calling me "Cokey," which I detest. . . . and I still wish I were Captain Chaos. 😔

I tend to avoid people who feel there are certain people who deserve to be ridiculed and bullied. Look, I don't agree in the least with hate groups -- but publicly humiliating them is just going to make them angrier and further dedicate them to their hateful cause. I hate it when Democrats ridicule Republicans. I hate it when Republicans ridicule Democrats. I hate it when people on social media lambaste someone else for supporting or not supporting what they do or don't. Somehow, we've gotten socially to the point where it's deemed acceptable to mortify and bully a person if they do this or that, and our children are seeing that. I avoid that, and the people who do it. Like the plague.

Well, as a mod, all I can say is that some forums are much more strict than others. Here, we're kind of lax on most things. (the few things we're not lax on are outlined in the Rules section. That's why they exist.) But I, personally, would never temp OR permaban anyone without an explanation. Hell, I even temp-banned one recently and took the time to explain why -- then @Benjo told me I'd just temp-banned a SpamBot. 😒 But, I always prefer to err on the side of caution. @NthnButAGoodTime is also a mod on another popular forum, and has a bit more experience than me. Perhaps he can shed more light? May I ask which forum it was?
