@Limey77 thank you very much!! I do have a question-for your load out, was it the cattleman revolver and the rifle? Also, I did see on another video on this earlier today where when they were trying to catch Kieran they shot his horse out right from under him which saved some time as well 😀

Has anyone else had a hard time getting this complete under the time limit for gold? I skip all the cutscenes and capture Kieran within the 45 seconds and bust ass back to camp-Idk what else I can do to fulfill this objective and it’s the only one I’m not hitting to get gold!!

@Volt that’s the issue I keep having-accidentally shooting him from the hip! So that’s why I’m wondering if I don’t hold r2 down as hard if that would work-I was able to successfully donut once but I think I got lucky and didn’t shoot him

How hard do you need to squeeze or hold down r2 when holding up the dr?

@Limey77 thanks so much for your help!! As a side note on the mission where you have to kill the 3 o”drscolls within the same dead eye, were you able to complete the whole mission within the 15 and a half minutes? If so, how did you do it? The last time I tried playing that mission, that was the only obhective I didn’t complete-the time limit objective

@Limey77 so I’ll have the weapons I acquire along the way when I do a manual save as well as level of health, deadeye, etc then-better than having a basic load out 😀 and golds should get easier the further i get into the game due to having more accurate weapons and such

Ok-so even tho it says but r2 on the screen I need to push l2 instead? I know that l2 is the aim button so that’s why I was confused when it showed to push r2

Does anyone else have issues with holding up the dr in valentine in order to be ale to enter the back room? I have been able to do it successfully once but all the other times when I have tried and it says hit r2 to draw weapon, I shoot him!! What are some ways I can hold this button and not do that?

@Limey77 yes it would and I thought that might be the case but just wanted to verify 😀 so for each mission in a chapter then I’ll do a manual save to try and get gold like you described doing

@Limey77thank you for all your help-i do have another question (and this might just be me overthinking it)-following this system, does it allow for getting weapons in later chapters and going back to earlier ones to get gold? (Ex: getting a gun in chapter 4 and going back and loading a save from chapter 2?) or just acquiring weapons as I go and saving before each mission and using those weapons to try and get gold?

@Limey77 does that then push the manual save up to the top spot to be the auto save file so I can keep repeating the process?

@Limey77 so when I make a manual save I’ll save it to the second spot and when I get gold, delete the save in the top spot?

So once I get a gold I delete the manual save for that mission, correct and I’ll be able to go to the next mission and follow the same process by having the auto save file allowing me to progress in the game?

Once I get gold using this method how do I make that save file the main auto save file?
