The mission where you have to stealthily take out the enemies in the woods seems to offer the quickest legit xp gain, I get between 350-400 xp each time. Also in Saint Denis near the post office is a ladder down an alley way (near where two of the Nosferatu clues are), get up onto the rooftops and get a wanted level, if you camp near the ladder you can just continuously pick off the officers as they climb. Using the bow seems to be the best for overall xp but you can work on any of your challenges (like pistol headshots etc) for the occasional boost. After every 100 bow kills you can reset that challenge and go again to get the boosts, you can also do the same once you complete the 120mins wanted challenge.

I find myself drifting further to the dark side as of late too Poggy. Had quite an interesting interaction in the valentine bar a few days ago, I was trying to get into fist fights for one of the challenges so decided to antagonise all the NPCs I could find. After knocking out the entire bar the law descended and I was shot dead but upon returning to the now empty bar, a player strolls in. I stand at the bar downing whiskey while eyeing up my new friend and he decides to follow suit. After downing several whiskeys my new friend gets the message and throws the first punch, what followed was a series of bare knuckle fights to the death. I have to say some of the best fun I've had in game for a while. Who ether you were sir I salute you. I've also made a point of harassing people who kill me unprovoked, killed a guy three times and then parlayed with him. Followed him around for the full 10 minutes then lobbed a Molotov at his horse when it expired. Not gonna lie I enjoyed it.

Fairly confident they reduced the sell price of salmon, I sold a full stack for around $25 where as they were around $45 before.

Are you online now Poggy? I think the updates might have already been applied, I just got $20 for a story mission. Not sure though as I did take down most enemies myself, might have been boosted from that.

Does anyone know if the updates have already been applied? I just did a story mission and got close to $20, I did almost kill every enemy myself though so I'm curious as to whether or not the boost was due to my high number of kills.

As the op stated salmon seems to be where the money is at, I got around 9$ for a full stack of perch yet got almost triple that for a few salmon. Would be cool to see if there are any places overpopulated with them.

I've been grinding story missions like a motherlicker, also got really lucky and glitched into a private session twice. Really made hunting easy and stranger missions more easy lol.

yeah you only need a set number of the total number of weapons available ( I forget how many) meaning you can miss a few and still get 100% completion. As Dylbandit said it's only important if you want to complete the weapon compendium.

Just found both horse stimulant and horse reviver in the hotel in Strawberry too, at $9.50 a pop it's defo worth exploiting while the economy is still so painfully broken.

Just north of the 'E' in Bluewater Marsh is a couple of shacks, inside is quite a few cans of food, some cheese and some salted beef. Also North-East of the 'O' in Ambarino is a lookout tower, inside is tonnes of cans of food, bait, and gun oil. If you also go to the basement round back there's high velocity rifle and pistol ammo. Both of these locations can be repeatedly looted by joining a new session, hope this helps those struggling with money.

No it's only available in that mission, revert back to an older save if you really want it but it's not necessary for 100% completion.

I actually brought the horse with in game cash for $130, I was just surprised that to insure even a horse of that standard it requires 5 gold. I only have 4.5 so far lol. Going have to ride careful for a while.

I just brought an improved horse (American Standardbread), turns out even horses of that tier require 5 gold to insure. It's probably best if users don't waste gold atm.

Could be true, I just did a quick join story mission at level 20 and got $10 and 440 xp. That's way more than usual.
