Drezien Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 I am also having issues with blurred imagery and it is pretty bad when moving camera/view around. Jagged edges out of focus in the peripheral. It is enough to cause eye strain. I am on psp4 pro with a 1080p tv. Not even 4k or HDR and still having the same issues it seems. The game is absolutely great and i hate this is happening. I feel confident that Rockstar will have a fix Soon. 1

The anti-aliasing at 1080p may not be the best, also you have motion blur the blurred effect when you move, i think it's maxed out, and depth of field that's when you look at something part of the screen gets blurried, personally i don't like these effects and allways disable them, xbox one x has them too. I've waited nearly a decade for this game and stayed up overnight until I could play it, and if it were as disappointing or unplayable as it sounds like it has been on the PS4 I'd be gutted. Hope they work it out for you guys soon. 1

This (R* tech support) is a JOKE! The developers responsible for PS4 Pro checkerboard rendering and fake HDR implementation knew exactly what they were doing. When they tested this, they would have gotten EXACTLY the same result we are now complaining about. It is not as if they are somehow unaware. They know! So showing them the issue is pointless. The frustrating this is the article claiming that rockstar is working on the fix is based on a single vague screenshot. I am sure there are some other ways to record the screen but they require additional hardware I think. The Digital Foundry videos do a good job of showing the bad checkerboarding for example so I'm sure they have that kind of hardware.
