RDR vs RDR2 - Which is better?

It will be some time before any of us finish the game but I would love to start a discussion on this. My opinion constantly sways in sequels when it comes to video games. As of right now, I can't say 2 is better than 1 but it is well on its way to being better. Time will tell!

Red Dead Redemption 2 in my opinion so far, not entirely done with the game, and the online isn't out yet. But, it's way more advanced, and you can do so much more in the new game, and it looks a million times better, with a great story.

I liked it more since the introduction. I know that is stupid to say but I was sold. I even really like Arthur a lot and I was shocked by that. I feel like overall with all the small survival details, it is just a better-developed game. The story itself goes more in-depth as well in my opinion.

I loved RDR1...Well over 100 hours in game over several years. That being said, RDR2 just took everything I loved about the first and made it better. The game would have to veer waaaay off track at this point for it not to be my favorite of the two, quite possibly favorite game ever...Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic holds a special place in my heart but could be unseated for my top spot here soon...
