Ebonezra
I get it, Rockstar is helping those of us who don't think ahead about missions; it automatically assigns us the guns we ought to use to best handle the particular story mission we're on. But! This game doesn't do a lot of hand-holding to begin with- why does it do this? I have customized guns and when I go to rescue someone, I want my custom pump-action shotgun, not a standard double-barreled shotgun. If I'm going to shoot people from a boat, I want my custom Carbine Repeater that has better stats than a standard Lancaster. Please, Rockstar, let me keep my loadout. If I fail, give me a bronze medal; I'll repeat the mission with whatever you assign during the repeat phase. Or, introduce a "held" button option on the bottom right corner that asks if I want to swap to recommended loadout? Benjo
Absolutely. I equipped myself with a fully upgraded pump and then as the mission began I was handed a crappy double barrel. Annoyed me no end.
Ebonezra
I started a mission and killed a guy who was next to a scoped rifle. I didn't have a scoped rifle but took the hint that I might need it. I swapped to it, shot a few folk and swapped back to my original gun. That is how the game should suggest loadouts all the time. oldphart-JRC
One of the first things I do is get my load out right for the situation. Do I need explosive rounds chambered ? Tomahawk or knife ? So, ya, count me in. It's a pain.
Ebonezra
That's exactly what I do as well. All that plannin' and the game is like: nah, here's a Lancaster Repeater; that's what you really need.
Pipeo
This really annoys me. I don't like having more than one weapon on the back but it often forces me to have two and I would also really like an option for one holster. I think it adds a layer of challenge if you don't have practically every option of weapon on all missions.
Parzival
It would be nice if the game stopped automatically swapping my Winchester for the Henry. Edited April 6, 2019 by Parzival
