*Spoilers* Epilogue/stabled horses

So i had the white Arabian horse you know the one that everybody has. So i did the story mission, you know the one where you lose your ****ing horse in a cut scene and i was wondering if i load my save before that mission, and stable the horse would i still be able to get it back as john. I maxed that ****ing horse out just for it to die in a cut scene. It was a hell of good mission don't get me wrong but i liked that horse and it was maxed out. I would like to think that i don't lose a horse i spent so much time on. As a matter of fact i had 2 other horses, one at tier 3 and another at tier 4  that i would also like to get back. i just want to know if its possible to get them back?

Worth a shot, just make a NEW save at that point instead of saving over the existing one.

(I haven't gotten that far yet, so I hope someone can answer this before I get to it)

I had to re-buy my Ardennes and start the bonding over again so yeah it looks like you have lost the bond with it. Whether it remains in your stable I don't know. You keep any saddles and things you've bought.

Too many RPG elements in this game that get f'd up by the story ending. All the camp customizations were a waste of time. Just gone after chapter 6. Your horses and their bond with you. Gone. Your money. Gone. Your guns. Gone. Your f'ing character. Gone. All that hunting of legendary animals -- pointless. Everything that you spent 60 hours on... Just gone in an instant. And you restart in the world with a new character with zilch to his name.

A character whose unable to play the side missions your old character hadn't finished yet.

Ending chapter 6 the way they did was an all around bad decision. It made everything up to that point WORTHLESS. You'd have been better off just sticking to story missions and ignoring all the extra stuff in the first place.
