Finding the person belonging to the voice

Not sure how to word the title and if discussed, my apologies.

I have a hard time finding the person belonging to the voice we hear as we ride around.

What I mean is I will hear a voice cry out for help and I can't always find them.

 

Any tips to make it easier and yes I use Dead Eye but doesn't always work.

Is it not just a stranger shouting? Sometimes I get this and a white blip comes up in the map then when I go to the area there’s no one there to help.

It isn't the Stranger missions. Those show with a question mark in white

 

It is random, Might be somebody saying they are hurt, etc.

Just stop, usually they shout again.

It seems if you miss one it will happen again later on. I had a prisoner walk up on me while I was riding 3 times now. First 2 I shot him in the face, third time I helped him and

he told me about a place I can rob.

You can add the subtitles and the name of the one speaking as well in the option, you'll be able to link the voice with the person soon enough now !

I shot off his cuffs and let him tell me about the score then hog-tied him and threw him in the river.
