Make Dead Eye Shooting like RDR1

I am sure some of you remember on RDR1 playing as John Marston, in dead eye mode you could use ‘RB’ on Xbox 360 or similarly I believe ‘R1’ on PS3 to set a marker where to shoot as opposed to on RDR2 when you drag your aim across a target it will mark them multiple times, making it harder to get just a one shot head shot without spraying the target. Does anyone know of a way to revert it to the way it was on RDR1 in the settings or is this something I would have to push Rockstar for?

You unlock this ability, as well as other dead eye upgrades, as you progress. In fact you need it to complete challenges in the future

Haven't played yet, but it could possibly be like in RDR1 where you had to upgrade your dead eye honestly dont know though.
