Fishing lures and Special fishing lures...

What’s the difference? Do special lures never break and lures do? Or do lures never wear out? I’m fishing with Dutch and Hosea and I’ve caught at least 13 fish using a lake lure and I still have it.

The special lures have a higher chance of catching legendary fish. I believe I read its 20 percent higher chance..

The lures don't wear out the only way you'll need to buy a new one is if you cut the line or while the fish is hooked you lose it.

Am I mistaken, or are you only able to purchase extra lake lures?

I don't recall seeing river/swamp lures in the shop... Is it just the bait shop that sells those?

There is a bait shop in Lagras just north west of Saint Denis. That’s where I got the other lures, along with the special ones. Where else can you get the lake lures?

Regular shops.

I have the others, just wasn't sure if you could buy any extras (only checked the bait shop that one time). Now that I can hold 99 of everything, I should go back and stock up on bait.

Very well, I should probably get some more of those, too. I didn’t know you could carry more than 3 lures. What fishing spot(s) have been most profitable to you where you could make some good coin out of it? I got at least $50 worth with the 15 or so fish I got from the lake you fish in with Hosea and Dutch

That might not include the lures... I got the Legend of the East Satchel, I can hold 99 of MOST things, but I'm not sure yet what isn't included. Lures might be part of the exception.

I haven't done much fishing, mostly hunting (for that satchel) so far. I strongly advise unlocking that first. I can stock up on fish (or almost anything else) for days and just unload it all at once.

I can confirm that you can carry up to 99 of each lure with the Legend of the East satchel. I already have it so I was able to go see for myself without having to google it up. I just bought 40 of each instead of 99 because I don’t think I’m gonna need that many. They can last you a while if you don’t break em. Also helps if you have the honorable discounts, up at 25% off and they cost about $1.60-1.80 each lure.

Got my honor up that high passively by fishing. I found a spot where I was able to toss them back, but they would land on the shore and die. Free fish!
