Anytime gunfire starts all the dogs run away, same with horses, cattle, animals, etc. the only dogs that don't are the bounty hunter dogs when you hit the top bounty Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Can you imagine hunting with a dog, and having it fetch the small game and bring it to you? Or pointing out animals that you're actively tracking?
