Pelt Stowing Problem

In RDO, it seems that I cannot take a pelt/skin off any horse, be it my own or a friends, to then take it off and sell it. Only way I can sell it is by taking the skin directly by carrying it myself. Anyone else notice this?

Yes, yesterday I had this, but I couldn't sell them anywhere

I never tried to take them off (or even checked if there was an option to do so when I got near it), but I had no problem selling them to the butcher directly from my horse.  I think as long as my horse was near, they were in the sell window.  Although it sounds like you may have tried that, so it could just be one of many bugs that are inevitable at launch of an Online game/service.

i have had no issue with either removing pelts or selling directly from my horse. sounds like a bug. 

 

on another note but throwing it on here is... has any one seen or does anyone know of a trapper online? i have looked, though not extensivly, for one to no avail.

There is no trapper online. You sell your pelts and other animal parts to the butcher.  There doesn't seem to be any clothes crafting online, the pelts and feathers are only good for making money.  Pretty decent source of money too, think they raised it from story mode.  you can still use the meat and fat from animals, an flight feathers, but it seems the rest is just vendor trash online.

I can report I no longer have issues selling to the Butcher. I haven't tried removing items from my horse yet.

The money from hunting is extremely profitable - I loaded up my horse a few times with multiple pelts, a deer carcass and two small animal carcasses and also carried a second deer carcass (It was a loooong walk back to Valentine from Limphany) and made a bunch of money. I can't wait to purchase a cart or a wagon and a few more horses!
