If you are a fan of RDR and haven't watched Westworld, do it immediately.

Never heard of it. Not but on TV though. I will check it out though. Who is in the show? I would imagine it is a series?

Yes a 10 episode series (season 2 out next year). It has Anthony Hopkins and a few other names, and is written by Jonathan Nolan (Interstellar, Inception). He said that as he was writing it he was inspired by games like RDR.. and it's amazing. I've watched it 7 times through now.

Great show and watched the whole season, but I just couldn't get my head around the logistics of it all. How on earth do they clean and repair EVERYTHING in the world up overnight, especially if someone has gone on a rampage. It would take weeks or months of careful planning to "reset" everything properly.

The series is set in a future where technology is so advanced there are robots that are perfectly equal to human beings, in appearence, emotions, manner of speaking, intelligence. I don't think cleaning them up would be a problem, given the tech they have in hands.

There are quite a lot of blogs etc talking about the science behind it all, you should read it - it's interesting. Like the bullets and how they can't kill the hosts etc. It's all really well thought out and feasible (with future tech). There are supposedly 2000 hosts, and if 20 get killed per day then it's realistic to think that their teams could repair them and get them back out quickly enough.

This sounds interesting. I have heard of it but never thought to make the connection to RDR. I will have to look into watching it as well. Is it on Netflix?

Unfortunately not on netflix but you can download it "via other means" if you know what I mean.
