chillierthyme2
I have watched other videos on saddle stats and all of them have (+) next to the percentage but all of my saddles have (-) next to drain rates, health and stamina, and (+) next to regen rate. I'm trying to figure out if the negative means it helps or hurts the horse stats. Also why does every video and online site show only positive signs next to their stats? Can somebody help me? chillierthyme2
So mine have both negative and positive signs, but as I said when I look at other saddle stat online or video guides they only have positive signs. So I am confused as to how they affect my horse.

That saddle drains the core of your horse's Stamina and Health 12% slower than normal, and the stamina ring regen (regenerate) rate is 12% faster than normal, and the stamina ring drain rate is 25% slower than normal. Different saddles will increase or decrease the "normal" drain and regen rates of those stats. You want - signs for the drains and + signs for the regen rates. Check this link for more details on the cores and rings - https://www.polygon.com/red-dead-redemption-2-guide/2018/10/25/18008874/cores-health-stamina-dead-eye-rings-upgrade-fill Edited November 30, 2018 by Kormath i kan't speel
chillierthyme2
thanks, I appreciate it. It seemed like my horse was draining faster than my last horse and I couldn't figure out if it was the saddle. I thought the arabian was supposed to be one of the best in the game but my last horse a race horse was stronger and seems faster, handling wasn't as good but it can take more of a beating than this arabian. I wonder why the saddle stat videos all show positive it was confusing me, I haven't seen a single saddle in my game with all positive signs so thanks for clearing that up for me. liquidfire
Is it true that the saddle stats aren't always accurate? I noticed on one of my horses, the stats seem to be perfect for me across the board but overall, my other horse that seems to have lower stats is "better?". I have been confused about this for a few weeks now. I thought I was just misunderstanding something.
gigemaggs99
You can also improve your horse stats buy upgrading the stirrups.

Yep, there's also the horse racers that you randomly encounter that give you that last notch in the speed category if you beat them both twice i think it is.
