Bandit 1 not working

I'm trying to rob people to pass the bandit 1 challenge but the number of the robbed people doesn't increase even if i rob someone.

I tried horses, trains, random pedestrians, i even robbed stores but none of these did anything (or nothing idk), help me please!

P.s. i'm not mother tongue so if i wrote something wrong dont get mad

you have to target them and press Y to rob.  Only 1 person in a location will count, or did for me.  When I robbed 4 or 5 people in a train car i only got credit for 1.  They have to be townsfolk.  Try at night behind the buildings or the auction barns in Valentine.

It’s not just you. I got stuck on this one as well. I don’t think I got Bandit 1 on my first play through.
