Stuck in Stable

So since last night, I can’t get my horse to come by whistle, and when I go to a stable to get it, my game gets stuck when trying to exit on the screen where the stable manager signs his clip board...anyone else seen this or know a work around? In order to get out of the glitch I have to exit the game entirely.

Solution - exit game, go back in but select free roam in a different area...

not sure why I didn’t try that before.

Glad this worked for you. Doesn't for me. Most times, I can't get my horse. When I do, I'm either disconnected or get stuck in the stable like you noted. 

No animals or NPC's either. 

I've submitted a ticket to R* as this game has been mostly unplayable since Feb 18 for me. Up until then, everything was running very smoothly. 😞

Years later... this still is happening... In my very first hour online... I am stuck... renamed the horse, restarted the game (2 now), bought all the services (but did not get a saddle to buy) and... nothing. So... I think I may just shoot the horse... cause I have ran out of food here.
