Best guns to carry?

Like Kean said paraphrased depends on you and your playing style..... what works for me is..

2 duel Schofields with Split Points... For gang hideouts, ambushes, NPC. Split points for super accuracy- stacking XP, cheap and can craft without always needing a Post Office.

Varmit Rifle... For making money... In a pinch good for NPC headshots

Bow all ammo.... Can take down any animal and usually re-coup your arrows, decent for people protection and fun to use

Obviously for my build I don't participate in PVP so might not work for you.

Depends on mood and type of engagement.

Schofield and Lemat (also works as a shotgun) dual wield

Lancaster Repeater (usually PvE) or Springfield Rifle

And

Pump Shotty or Bow (usually PvE stealth or Hunting).
