When immersing into an open world, the player wants to feel like they are there, so the environment plays a huge part. The player starts off as protagonist Arthur Morgan. Although the situation could be better for Arthur, he is immediately thrusted into a cold blizzard which results in an unstable environment. Trees are blowing, and the snow is swallowing the his horses path making it hard to move. These elements are apart of a growing dynamic that changes as the player continues the play through. One thing that does bring huge attention is the music and ambient noise. All throughout  the player is greeted with birds chirping and occasionally moose sounds in the background, but the most intense moments come from the waterfalls in my opinion. Aside from the visually stunning look, it sounds realistic. Lastly, I would like to talk about the engagement and interactions within the game itself.  On the other hand, Arthur finds a man who is bitten by a snake, and he helps him in the moment only to later see him and be offered any free item from the local store. Moments like these make the game feel more realistic and enjoyable by giving options.

Not much of a review but maybe my definition of one is different? Sounds like you just enjoyed the scenic aspects of the game. I think we all did. Well, some didn't. Some felt it could be better. Considering it is 2019 and it looks pretty close to being real, I would say people are asking for too much too soon. lol Go outside if you want to look at a real tree. Anyways, glad you enjoyed the game dude.

🤣🤣

I was thinking the same thing.  My first thought was he posted his homework on the wrong site.

Never had a problem with the scenery, loved it,  got numerous screenshots of scenic views from the mountain tops.  My xbox home screen background is one of those.

I'm not saying this is a great review but I will say mine would likely be a whole hell of a lot worse. lol

The scenic parts are what I enjoyed the most about the game. The story was good and the general gameplay felt good but nothing beats looking at a game and thinking "damn, this looks amazing". I been playing since the early 90's, gaming has come a long, long way.
