Pocket Watch Query

I have a selection of pocket watches in my inventory, how to I equip one on my outfits.

 If I have read your post correctly. You cannot equip one to your outfit. It just sits in your inventory and you click on it and the pocket watch is in your hand. You can read the time. That is it unfortunately. It would be cool if it was on your outfit.

I have seen other players on xbox showing watch chains hanging on waistcoats ( vests ), this just makes me more suspicious about BOTS in the game.

That's a specific vest from the Blackrose Bounty Hunter outfit I think. If you have that outfit you can individually equip items from it in other custom outfits.
