A few questions from an online newbie

Ok, I've never been a fan of playing online, but purely out of boredom this weekend I decided to see what RDR2O is all about. 

I'm working my way through the co-op story missions which I am enjoying and a few stranger ones whilst trying to get some money and level up. Currently on lv 9 or 10 I think, so a couple more of the guns and clothing options have started to open up for me now. 

I have a few questions for things I am struggling with. 

1. How do you reverse wagons? Twice now I've failed a mission because I crashed into a house/rock or whatever and couldn't reverse and was stuck. 
2. What is the difference between 'free roam' and 'land of opportunties'? 
3. I've had a few posse invites pop up off randomers. Should I accept these? What will happen if I do? 
4. When does horse breaking become available? I tried to break a wild horse then rode all the way to the stables with it only to not be able to do anything (not even sell it)
5. Where is the treasure on bards crossing? I looked it up online and it said it could be in any 1 of 3 positions, but I checked all three and mine wasn't there. Glitch? 
6. When someone kills you what does 'press charges' or 'parley' do?

1. rb xbox or r1 ps4 to reverse

2. free roam is do what u want land of opportunities is story missions.

3. posse invites mean u ride around with randomers doing different stuff depending on the type of players they are.

4. horse breaking and stuff isnt in game yet.

5. while hunter for treasure press the two joysticks in to see if u can see a gold plume going into the air for location if not your controller will rattle the closer you get to it.

6. press charges means there wanted level goes up parley means u get a 3-5 minute window to disappear (i think as never done it)

The difference is, Land of Opportunity are the Story Missions, Free-Roam is the map where you interact with everyone in a lobby.

But if you mean the difference between the Main Menu options. If you click Land of Opportunity it will put you in a Free-roam to continue your Story missions.

You could join, might be other members wanting to posse up to help each other out. Or some times it's trolls that will send invites just to kick you and start killing you.

If you join a persistent posse.  You will see a pop up message every time the leader starts / reforms the posse, which you can go to the quick menu & join up right away. If you are part of a persistent posse you can tap Right D-pad / click on Posse & there you will see which persistent posses you are apart of.

Online isn't like Single / campaign, you can't stable horses you find in free-roam. You have to buy a horse from the stables & in time you will level up the bonding. To increase the bond you can feed, clean, press the LS in while riding it, hitch the horse to stuff, or lead it around.

To find treasure easier have vibration turned on with your controller & use eagle eye. The more your controller vibrates the closer you are to the treasure, then use eagle eye. You will see an fx of gold. The same fx that is used for plants but instead of white,  you will see Gold for the treasure location. Or you might have a glitch

Pressing charges make the players dot turn a brighter red & when you parley them, it mean the player can't kill you for 10 mins.
